Client User Manual
ExoTrade AI Client App
This guide is for client users only. It explains how to sign in, complete two-step verification, open the dashboard, review signals, manage profile details, and use protected demo/testnet/live controls.

Open Client App Download Client Manual Download Live Readiness ReportReadiness checks use signals assigned to your account. If no eligible owned signal exists, trading remains blocked. Unavailable readiness checks are not proof of a login failure; verify your workspace session status separately.
Execution Environment
The signed-in dashboard shows an Execution environment notice. UNKNOWN means exchange execution has not been verified; it does not mean real-money orders are disabled. Ask your administrator to verify the account environment before trading. This notice does not change your saved trading preferences or authentication requirements.
1. Quick Start
- Open
/exotrade-ai?app=client&mode=simple#dashboard. - Select Client login if the session prompt appears.
- Enter your client email and password.
- Enter the two-step authentication code sent to your email.
- After verification, the app returns to the client dashboard automatically.
The dashboard loads through the fast ExoTrade dashboard endpoint first. Heavier readiness panels load afterward so a slow scanner or readiness check does not block access to the workspace.
2. Login And Two-Step Code
Use only the client login page: /exotrade-ai/auth/login.html?role=client. The verification page accepts the active code without resetting the expiry time.
- If the code is accepted but the dashboard still looks locked, hard-refresh with Ctrl+F5.
- If you see a role error, you may be signed in with an admin session. Log out and sign in again as a client.
- If email delivery fails, ask the administrator to verify SMTP settings.
3. Dashboard Areas
The Client navigation is grouped into Dashboard, Markets, Trade, Activity, Portfolio, Strategies, Reports, ExoBot, Notifications, and Settings/Profile. Activity contains Signals, Orders, Positions, and History; Trade contains Manual Trading and Trading Setup. Shared runtime-engine diagnostics, heartbeats, scanner tuning, and release deployment controls remain Admin-only.
Notifications are grouped by date in a compact activity center. Search by pair, trade/order ID, title, or message, filter by source and inclusive From/To dates, and expand View details for the complete record.
- Account summary: balance, equity, daily P/L, floating P/L, and connection state.
- Best signal: current symbol, direction, entry, stop loss, take profit, confidence, and volume details.
- Why Trading Has Not Started: explains blockers such as missing connection, expired signal, stale market data, or risk limits.
- Open Orders, Positions, Closed Orders: show the actual execution flow and manual close results.
- Reports: shows account, signal, execution, strategy, and performance summaries.
4. Client Workflow
- Review the dashboard status and connection state.
- Check the current signal and confirm entry, SL, TP, expiry, and confidence.
- Use Check Readiness before manual or automated action.
- Use Manual Trading only when TP and SL are supplied.
- Monitor Open Orders and Positions after any trade action.
- Review Closed Orders and Reports after positions close.
5. Manual Trading
Manual Trading supports Market buy/sell trades with editable quantity, order notional, entry, Spot/Futures selection, Futures leverage, Stop Loss, Take Profit, optional trailing protection, and guarded re-entry. Review the calculated margin, fees, planned loss, account-equity risk, expected net profit, and expected account return before confirming.
Use Refresh price to request the latest trusted quote, Reset to restore protected defaults, and the labeled Advanced protection and re-entry controls for two-way price/percentage editing. A Futures risk percentage above the configured threshold is a warning that requires careful review, not an automatic block; all other account, exchange, protection, freshness, and execution gates still apply.
- Choose PRICE or PERCENTAGE independently for Stop Loss and Take Profit. Changing one recalculates the corresponding value using exchange precision.
- Spot leverage is disabled. Futures leverage is validated against account, exchange, collateral, exposure, and risk limits.
- Trailing SL and trailing TP default to 0%, which means disabled. Trailing TP activates only under the displayed policy and then exits after the configured favorable-price retracement.
- Auto Re-enter After Trailing Exit defaults to OFF. If enabled, select a valid re-entry rule. A trailing exit does not immediately reopen the trade; cooldown, fresh data, fresh rule validation, risk checks, and a new Client confirmation are required.
- Limit, Stop, and Conditional Manual Trading remain blocked until their complete exchange/order lifecycle is certified. They are not silently converted to Market orders.
Recommended Orders from Manual-Approved Signals are different from ordinary Manual Trading. The Admin reviews first, but no order is submitted until you review and approve the exact current revision. You may edit the permitted size, leverage, entry, SL/TP, trailing, and re-entry fields before approval.
- Single close: closes one selected position.
- Close positive: bulk closes profitable open positions.
- Close negative: bulk closes losing open positions.
- Close all: closes all open positions in the selected scope.
Live-money execution stays blocked unless exchange connection, risk acknowledgement, and readiness gates pass.
6. Profile And Documents
Use Profile to update name, phone, location, Telegram handle, ID type, ID number, ID expiry, and ID document. Supported upload formats are PNG, JPG, WEBP, and PDF. Admin approval may be required before live access.
7. Demo, Testnet, And Live Accounts
- Simulation Demo: paper trading inside the app. It does not require an exchange account or API keys.
- Live Demo / Testnet: exchange-linked sandbox testing. It requires exchange API details and uses the same TP/SL, stale-signal, spot/futures, and leverage protection as live readiness.
- Live: real-money mode. It requires tested exchange credentials, admin approval, risk acknowledgement, and every live gate. Never use API keys with withdrawal permission.
Exchange referral links use the admin-configured referral URL when available. If not configured, the official exchange link is used.
Before live-money trading, use the live readiness report at /exotrade-ai/manuals/live-readiness-report.html. Clients should complete profile requirements, create a read/trade-only exchange API key with withdrawals disabled, provide requested wizard inputs, and confirm that Balance, Equity, Open Orders, Positions, Closed Orders, and Trading Process Health reconcile after testnet rehearsal.
8. Safety Notes
- Do not trade expired, stale, blocked, or rejected signals.
- Always confirm TP and SL before opening any manual trade.
- Demo/testnet results do not guarantee live performance.
- Use trade-only API keys and keep withdrawals disabled.
9. Troubleshooting
- Dashboard timeout: hard-refresh with Ctrl+F5. The app should load the fast dashboard first, then update readiness panels.
- Session required after 2FA: make sure you used the client login page and not admin login.
- Wrong dashboard: open
/exotrade-ai?app=client&mode=simple#dashboard. - No signals: wait for current market data or ask admin to inspect signal generation and freshness.
10. Environment and Sessions
The environment notice shows the Admin-controlled Application Environment separately from the account Trading Mode. A REAL portal label does not mean LIVE trading is enabled.
Client login is isolated from Admin login in the same browser. Client data remains scoped to the authenticated Client account.
11. TEST Account Truth
The TEST dashboard separates Available Cash, Allocated Capital, and Account Equity. ExoBot summarizes the same scoped signal, order, position, closed-trade, P/L, and synchronization records.
Signal Review distinguishes planned size from actual recorded fill. Missing historical exchange or equity snapshots are shown as unavailable instead of estimated.
12. REAL Access Status
TEST remains limited to authorized testing accounts. REAL operational storage is separate, and an authenticated Client may sign in and view the REAL portal without enabling trading. Until REAL trading certification passes, new REAL signals, routing, execution, and position mutations remain blocked. Selecting or viewing an environment never enables LIVE trading.
A REAL authorization or readiness warning must not sign you out. Only an expired or invalid authentication session requires a new login.
13. App Release Awareness
Release installation and rollback are Admin-only operations. Your signals, orders, positions, closed trades, balances, reports, and login account are not erased when an application release changes. TEST and REAL records remain separate, and a release update never enables LIVE trading by itself.
If a controlled restart is required, wait for the workspace health checks to complete. Do not repeat an order while the app reports recovery or reconciliation in progress.
14. AI Insight and Market Data
A fresh displayed price does not by itself make a strategy ready. New AI and Custom AI signals also require a recent completed strategy candle. When candle history is stale, signal generation pauses safely while Admin recovery runs; old setups are not presented as new signals.
V1.1-V1.5 Platform Intelligence provides the market-data, chart-confirmation, signal-quality, portfolio-protection, alert, and readiness checks used by the client workspace. It does not independently authorize a trade.
ExoTrade AI Insight is decision support. It may explain your authorized account, market-data, signal, and trading state, but deterministic data, risk, execution, and accounting services remain authoritative.
AI cannot enable Live trading, place an order, bypass risk controls, or inspect raw exchange credentials. When trusted data is unavailable, the correct result is unavailable or no recommendation, never an invented price or trade.
AI recommendations are limited to No Trade, Monitor, Review, or Information, include an expiry time, and never authorize execution. If all free providers are unavailable, the workspace reports a temporary AI outage while deterministic trading and reporting continue unaffected.
15. Strategy And Trading-Source Readiness
Built-in, AI Trading, and your Custom AI strategies are assessed separately for registration, evaluator operation, OOS economic performance, forward Simulation evidence, and exchange execution. Registered or historically evaluated does not mean profitable, approved, or Live-ready.
RESEARCH_ONLY permits labeled research and safe TEST Simulation evidence collection only. NOT_YET_CERTIFIED means required independent evidence has not been completed. BLOCKED means a mandatory gate prevents the next stage. Your Custom AI records are visible only within your account scope; another Client's certification cannot be reused.
Current three-source evidence qualifies no source for active trading. Historical or Simulation results do not guarantee future performance, and Live execution remains separately disabled until every required gate and authorization passes.
16. Signal Review And Approval
New entries may wait for Global Signal Oversight or Manual Signal Approval. They are separate checks. Admin approval never replaces a Client approval required by your account and never bypasses market-data, balance, risk, protection, exchange, or expiry checks.
- Awaiting review: oversight has not authorized the revision.
- Blocked: read the reason and corrective action; mandatory safety failures cannot be overridden.
- Approved: only that exact revision may proceed, and only after final account checks.
- Expired or superseded: a fresh revision and required approvals are necessary.
Existing open trades continue receiving authorized protective management—stop-loss, take-profit, trailing, and risk-reducing actions—while new signals wait or while you are signed out. Oversight does not change whether a signal came from Built-in, AI, Manual, Custom Strategy, or Trade Copying.
17. Custom Strategy With AI Assistance
Use Describe the whole strategy or the structured sections to create an inspectable draft. Examples are drafting aids, not profitable recommendations. Resolve highlighted questions about instruments, timeframes, units, sessions, missing data, repainting, execution, risk, and exits before saving a new immutable version.
Uploaded Pine, MQL4/MQL5, Python, or JavaScript source is inspected but never executed directly. Unsupported behavior, dependencies, secrets, timing differences, and parity gaps remain visible. Source and translated specification remain separate. A strategy cannot trade until required validation, approvals, Client consent, and account safeguards pass.
